Kelvin Murimi was born in the year 1998 as a first born to the late mother Helena and had 1 sister Jackline.

Kelvin joined school in the year 2003 where he was schooling at Karuruni Primary school. At grade 7 he transferred to Mariani where he completed his Primary level Education last year. He did not do so well since he did his exams on the hospital bed. After the results Kelvin was deliberating on what to do with his life putting his health into great consideration. We had been in communication with the sponsor on the same.

KCK life

Kelvin joined Kenya Connection Kids (KCK) in the year 2009 a time he was in grade 1. Through the great support received from THOMAS AND SARA DILWORTH we were able to take care of Kelvin’s School uniforms, shoes, paying his school levies and subsidizing his monthly food. We ensured that every time we bought him a special meal that would help boost his immunity. From time to time we were also able to pay his medical bills. Special thanks go to the family of Thomas and Sara Dilworth who have been walking this journey with Kelvin. This young boy always looked forward to the annual camp that we hold as KCK every year for the spiritual nourishment of our kids.

This Kelvin when he had just received his Christmas clothes bought from the Christmas money his sponsors had sent.

Social life

Kelvin has been a very obedient boy and we could always see determination in all that he did. He was an easy going young boy who was full of joy and a big smile always painted on his bright face. He was also loved by everybody who met and associated with him.

Illness and Demise

Kelvin was born HIV positive and so his body immune was very low and prone to HIV related illnesses. Kelvin has never enjoyed his life since he was always in and out of hospital. He was born with his condition and all through has been fighting this battle until his Demise in April 2017. We loved you Kelvin but the good Lord loved you more.

Fare de well Kelvin
