The rainy seasons are finally here. As usual so muddy. We are grateful for the work Reba and the team did last time they were here. All the kids have mud boots and umbrellas. It’s now easier to walk to school in the mud.

2nd Home Kids Visits Chuka Catholic ECDE Kids
It was lots of fun as KCK ECDE kids visits fellow kids at a neighboring school. We were warmly received by these other dear kids and their teacher. Had a class together, did oral questions, toured the school, sang, and played together. Each of our kids got a new friend. The 1.5 km walk was great for the kids since they are not used to walking that far. On our way back we had to carry baby Mark and baby Myra 3 years and 3 months old respectively.

The three workshops for the technical institute are almost done. We thank God and all that have continually supported this project even as we trust God for it’s full completion. The entire project includes the three workshops, three classes, an office, two exit homes (one for the girls and another for the boys,) and three storey children homes. The project is geared to the benefit of the orphaned and vulnerable kids. Once it’s complete KCK shall be able to bring many more kids and also help the community at large. All are welcome to come in and support this great project.
